Summary

Can you spare a few hours on the day of the Festival ( 2 - 6hrs) to help ensure that festival-goers have a fun and safe experience?

Detailed description

The tenth Kimpton Folk Festival is on Saturday the 4th of July 2026.

Stewards are the welcoming face of our festival, meeting and greeting and helping people find all the wonderful experiences on offer around the village.

Our Stewards can support:

  • Festival ticketed guests and performers in the concert halls.
  • The public to enjoy the free festival on The Green.
  • Parents and children to enjoy the festival on the Garden Fields family area.
  • Musicians, dancers, actors and crafts people to deliver their best performance on the day.
  • clearing up with the whole team at the end of the night.

Our stewards are also our eyes and ears at the festival and you will be able to notice and report any health and safety or safeguarding incidents you see to the Location Manager you are working with.

These roles have responsibilities, but you will have fun and be one of a large group of volunteers. There are around 1000 visitors to the festival each year and everyone has a great time, relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere and great music. We hope you will join us. You will be made very welcome!
