An opportunity to join the crack team organising one of the best little music events in the country.
The Kimpton Folk Festival marked its tenth anniversary this year with its most successful event ever. The organising team now has openings for one or two fresh faces to help with the planning and running of this hugely popular one-day celebration of music, dance and cultural heritage. We want to build on past achievements and bring new ideas that take the festival forward into the next ten years.
We’re keen to hear from anyone who feels they have something to offer, but it would be particularly good if you have experience of dealing with things like fundraising, sponsorship or advertising sales, or are just really good at organising people and logistics. The precise roles can be tailored to fit your experience and aptitude from the tasks available. We want people to be comfortable in their role…and to have fun.
Committee meetings are held roughly once a month, but we often gather in informal group meetings to discuss particular tasks. Please get in touch and tell us why you’d like to be part of the Kimpton Folk Festival team.
