Our Mission:
We help young people aged 8–14 build confidence, develop skills, and stay active through basketball and mentoring. Our sessions focus on mental well-being, teamwork, and creating positive futures.
Your Impact:
By volunteering as an Assistant Coach, you’ll help provide a safe, supportive environment for children in the community. You’ll be a role model, encouraging young people to stay focused, build skills, and grow in confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Coach with basketball drills and activities
- Help set up and pack down equipment
- Support young participants during training, offering guidance and motivation
- Ensure safety and positive behaviour throughout sessions
- Be part of creating an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere
Time Commitment:
- Weekday afternoons or Saturday mornings
- Flexible around your availability
Skills You’ll Gain:
- Youth work and mentoring experience
- Team leadership and coaching skills
- Community engagement
No formal coaching experience is needed. Just enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to help.
