Detailed description
This World Book Day, we’re bringing stories together for a great cause.
To mark this year’s World Book Day, we’re organising a special fundraising initiative and inviting residents of Stevenage and surrounding areas to donate their unwanted books. For a small donation, we’ll collect them directly from their homes during pre-agreed time slots.
To make this possible—and to reach as many donors as we can—we’re looking for a group of kind, reliable volunteers who can help by driving, collecting the books, and delivering them to our depot at SG4 7JY.
Pickup locations will be confirmed on 4 March, and routes will be assigned to you then.
In addition to being a driver on the day, we’d love your support in spreading the word and promoting our book collection to friends, family, and the wider community.
Together, we can give books a second life and make this World Book Day truly meaningful and impactful. 📚✨

So we build libraries from shipping containers using books you no longer need. We have started in Kenya, but hoped to build libraries wherever they are needed.
