Captain Rainbow is a small, colourful handmade character created to bring a bit of brightness to local community spaces. Anyone who enjoys knitting or crocheting can make their own version and place it in places like libraries, family hubs, churches or community centres. Every Captain Rainbow will look slightly different, and that’s part of the charm.
To get involved, you can make your own Captain Rainbow using the simple knit or crochet pattern. Place it in a local community space, or email me for the pattern.
