Community Connectors help raise awareness of Jumbulance in their local area by delivering leaflets and posters to relevant locations.
Community Connectors help raise awareness of Jumbulance in their local area by delivering leaflets to community centres, GP surgeries, churches, cafés, libraries and other public spaces. This gentle, flexible role directly supports our mission by reaching people who may benefit from hiring our vehicle, our trips, or who may want to volunteer and support us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Jumbulance leaflets and posters in your local area at times that suit you
- Identify suitable outlets for leaflet displays (e.g., community boards, health centres, local shops, faith groups)
- Keep a simple log of where leaflets have been placed
- Replenish leaflet stocks when needed
- Share local information with the Jumbulance team (e.g. community events, groups or venues that may be interested)
- Connect with local groups and charities that support people with specific disabilities (e.g., Muscular Dystrophy, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal injuries, neurological conditions) and share Jumbulance information where appropriate and pass on any leads to the Jumbulance Team for further contact.
- Represent Jumbulance positively as a friendly local ambassador
Optional: Attend local community events, fairs or information days on behalf of Jumbulance( if you feel confident and comfortable doing so)
