Detailed description

Volunteer Opportunity – Jackie’s Drop-In (Disability Support)

Jackie’s Drop-In is looking for caring and reliable volunteers to support members with disabilities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

As a volunteer, you’ll help members feel safe, valued, and engaged by offering companionship, assisting with activities, and supporting individual needs during sessions. No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to help others.

Session times:

  • Adults: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 3:00pm
  • Children: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm – 7:00pm

Volunteers can support one or more sessions depending on availability.

About Jackie's Drop-In Centre

Jackie's Drop-In is a Drop-In service of inclusion, many adults are isolated within the disability sector, which is where we believe everybody deserves a chance to get involved and be included, meet friends and make some new ones along the way, be happy and most importantly safe. We have 8 different activity rooms accessible from 11-3pm, we also have a sensory room and beautiful sensory garden.
