Summary

Do you have an interest in sustainable fashion, visual merchandising and a passion for retail?

Detailed description

Do you love clothes? Do you have a great eye for fashion, a flair for visual merchandising, or love curating outfits for all ages?

We are looking for volunteers to work in our retail shops across eastern Hertfordshire. We are flexible with hours and can offer a morning, afternoon or a few hours over the lunch period.

Whether you are a novice or have charity retail experience, full training will be provided.

As a Sustainable Fashion Shop volunteer you will:

  • help customers and give great customer service
  • help with displays and merchandising to ensure the shop looks its best and is on trend
  • keep the shop floor neat and tidy
  • keep the back of house ship shape when receiving, sorting and processing donations
  • share your experiences of volunteering and encourage others to join us supporting the Hospice
  • spread the word about Gift Aid to help us raise as much as we can from the donations we receive

We want our shops to stand out on the High Street because of our exceptional service and the range, value and quality of the goods we sell and you will be a part of it!

About Isabel Hospice

Isabel Hospice is a local charity and each year we care for hundreds of people across eastern Hertfordshire
All our care is free and can be provided in your home, at our community hubs or our In-Patient Unit. Most of the people we care for have cancer, however, we are also increasingly caring for people with other life limiting conditions.
