Our hospitality volunteers support the catering and clinical teams to provide patients and their visitors refreshments/ meals in a caring and efficient way.
Hospitality volunteers assist Chef by taking meal orders from patients, serving and clearing away. They also support relatives, offering tea and coffee, and a choice of food from the daily menu. Shifts are 8.30am-12.30pm; 12.30-4pm; 4-7pm - 7 days a week (including Christmas day!). This can be a physically and emotionally demanding role and offers a good insight to our In-Patient Unit and palliative care. Over 18 years only. Full training provided.
