Join our team of volunteer Social Media Editors and help us to create a bigger audience for the beautiful artwork our members create.

Main Purpose:

  • To promote HVA to its followers on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts
  • To respond appropriately to comments on posts
  • Social Media Editor is a voluntary role and reports to the volunteer Marketing Lead/Vice Chair.

Responsibilities

  1. To agree and work to a timetable of deadlines and publication dates
  2. To write to the agreed style for the different platforms based on a brief provided by the Marketing Lead/Vice-Chair/Chair
  3. To schedule posts in line at times/on dates agreed
  4. To monitor and report on response levels
  5. To escalate any concerns to the Marketing Lead/Vice Chair/Chair.

Key Skills

Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

Able to use Canva or Photoshop to create images in line with our brand style.

Notes

HVA uses Meta Business Suite scheduling software. Training available if needed
