HVA has lots to be proud of and over 400 wonderfully talented member artists. This role shares our stories with the public through the media.
Main Purpose:
- To provide a flow of information about HVA activity to the public through the press, other media and publicity events, and to respond to press enquiries.
- This role complements but does not include the work of the Open Studios Publicity Officer.
- Reports to Executive Team
Responsibilities
- To compose and email press releases to appropriate newspapers, periodicals, listings, TV, radio, websites
- To report on PR activity to HVA Executive Team
- To develop and agree a Public Relations plan for HVA.
- Respond appropriately to media requests.
- Consider and implement other appropriate PR activity in liaison with Executive Team.
