HVA has exciting plans for development and needs funding to enable this growth and to meet the needs of our creative members.
HVA’s Fundraising Team will identify, explore, document and prepare bids for funding opportunities to support HVA future development plans and to allow visual arts to be more widely accessed in the community.
What will you do?
- Research online to identify potential funding sources to support HVA development
- Maintain an online repository of information about appropriate funding sources
- Be methodical, with a strong attention to detail
- Communicate funding opportunities to Executive Team
- Prepare and compile funding applications
- Meet critical timelines.
What are we looking for?
The ideal Fundraiser will have experience of researching and preparing funding bids.
They will have:
- Strong attention to detail, be well organised and able to work to specific deadlines.
- Good skills in online research and the use of online apps including Word and Excel.
- Have a good command of written English and the ability to write a clear compelling case for funding.
- Understand how to present HVA proposals so they address funder priorities.
- Be able to work effectively within a team.
- Provide regular reports on progress to the Executive Team.
Critical timepoints will be:
- Executive Team meetings
- Opportunities timescales.
- Timelines for specific funding applications.
The Fundraising team reports to Treasurer.
