HVA needs extra funding to offset the rising costs of staging Art Fairs and other events, and to develop the organisation growth capacity.
Main Purpose:
● To seek, identify, explore, document and apply for new funding opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and document suitable sources of funding for individual artists, specific activities and HVA as an organisation
2. Establish contact register with funding sources wherever applicable
3. Alert HVA members to funding opportunities through updates to Funding web page on HVA website and more direct channels
4. Communicate and coordinate strategic funding strategies with Executive Team
5. Write a piece for the Newsletter/Magazine once a year to advertise the funding information service
6. Assist HVA in obtaining sponsorship, donations, advertisements and in compiling funding applications.
Critical time targets
● Agendas for all Executive Team meetings according to funding opportunities timescales.
● Articles for Newsletter/Magazine to meet copy dates.
Comments
● Develop HVA to be able to bid for UK/EU/International projects.
● Develop relationship with other art organisations (for the benefit of artists and potential funding opportunities).
● Stimulate HVA members to come up with initiatives.
