We’re looking for experienced creative content writers who can write compelling and persuasive content to promote our services.
Our creative writing team volunteers help to market our activities and events, following our guidelines to ensure a consistent tone across all communications.
The team enjoys planning, updating and delivering content which plays an important role in the promotion of HVA to our target audiences of art lovers and visual creatives, potential sponsors, donors and partners.
Key Tasks and Objectives
Copywriting: Create well-written and compelling copy for our website, members magazine, promotional leaflets, catalogues and membership packs
Storytelling: Help communicate our impact via stories and case studies for our website, marketing materials, or to use when talking to potential members, sponsors, or partners
Web copywriting: Create and update engaging content that helps members and visitors understand what activities are available to enjoy
Social media snippets: Create information and case study snippets for social media platforms
Press Releases - content that could be used in different channels.
Skills required:
- experienced writer with a good grasp of written English
- a clear understanding of ways to engage the reader
- proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Google Documents
- able to work to agreed timescales and meet copy deadlines.
The Creative Writing Team reports to Vice Chair Marketing.
