HVA needs extra income and support to offset the rising costs of staging Art Fairs and other events.
The Advertising and Sponsorship Coordinator will play a key role in obtaining advertisers for HVA Art Fair catalogues, Open Studios brochures and Love Art magazine, and find sponsors for these and other events.
Responsibilities:
- Identify suitable contacts for advertising, sponsorship or in-kind support
- Establish and maintain a database of these contacts recording what's achieved and when
- Follow agreed guidelines on advertising rates and timeframes for specific HVA exhibitions, activities and publications
- Obtain advertising revenue and sponsorship fees or support in kind for HVA activities
- Provide reports on progress in obtaining income
Skills and Experience:
Ideally someone with selling experience, the volunteer Advertising and Sponsorship Coordinator will:
- understand how to research and identify potential advertisers/ sponsors
- record information in an online contact management database
- deal confidently and politely with contacts
- build effective relationships with potential advertisers/sponsors
- be clear about the benefits of advertising/sponsoring HVA
- monitor progress against agreed targets.

Advertising copy deadlines for catalogues and magazines
Executive Team meeting dates for progress reports.
Reports to Strategy & Development Lead/Executive Team.
