HVA is looking for an organised and creative volunteer to help us to manage the artwork and marketing materials we use.

HVA has a growing collection of artwork and promotional collateral. Some materials are used regularly, while others are brought out for specific events or occasions. We need to find someone who can keep everything organised, accessible and looking its best.

What will you do?

As Artwork Coordinator, you will:

  • Maintain an organised online store of HVA artwork and marketing collateral, making it easy for the team to find and use the right resources.
  • Keep an up-to-date record of all collateral, including what each item is, when and where it has been used.
  • Maintain HVA's brand design guidelines, ensuring new artwork follows our agreed fonts, Pantone colours and visual identity.
  • Work with HVA team members to provide artwork and resources for events, exhibitions and other activities.
  • Occasionally update existing artwork, refresh images or create new designs that fit within the HVA brand.

What are we looking for?

You'll be organised, reliable and comfortable working independently, with a good eye for design and attention to detail.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Good technical and organisational skills
  • Experience of maintaining online records and digital resources.
  • Experience with online design tools and/or design software.
  • An understanding of basic design principles and branding.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and respond to requests from HVA volunteers and team members.

What's in it for you?

This is a home-based volunteer role offering a great opportunity to develop your creative and technical skills while contributing to the work of Herts Visual Arts CIC.

You'll have the opportunity to build on your existing design experience, hone your understanding of design principles, develop your skills with digital design tools and gain valuable experience in managing a visual brand.

Most importantly, you'll be helping HVA present a consistent, professional and inspiring visual identity across all our activities.

If you're organised, creative and enjoy bringing order to a collection of visual resources, we'd love to hear from you!
