HVA needs extra income and support to offset the rising costs of staging Art Fairs and other events.
The Advertising and Sponsorship Coordinator will play a key role in obtaining advertisers for HVA Art Fair catalogues, Open Studios brochures and Love Art magazine, and in finding sponsors for these and other events.
Responsibilities:
- Identify suitable business contacts for advertising, sponsorship or in-kind support
- Maintain a database of the business contacts, recording what's achieved and when
- Follow agreed guidelines on advertising rates and copy timeframes for specific HVA exhibitions, activities and publications
- Obtain advertising revenue, sponsorship or support in kind for HVA activities
- Provide reports on progress in obtaining income.
Skills and Experience:
This role will be ideal for someone with good relationship building skills. The Advertising and Sponsorship Coordinator will:
- understand how to research and identify potential advertisers/ sponsors
- record information in an online contact management database
- deal confidently and politely with contacts
- build effective relationships with potential advertisers/sponsors
- be clear about the benefits of advertising/sponsoring HVA
- monitor progress against agreed targets.
Critical time targets:
Event dates for which sponsorship is required
Advertising copy deadlines for catalogues and magazines
Executive Team meeting dates for progress reports.
