Volunteer Role: Team Member – Various Opportunities
Location: Watford South
Do you want to make a difference to young people and help shape the future of Scouts in your local community?
Watford South Scouts are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and support our 10 Scout groups across the District.
There are a variety of opportunities available, so whether you’re interested in working directly with young people, supporting volunteers, helping with the running of a group or using your professional skills, there could be a role for you.
You could be joining a Squirrel, Beaver, Cub, Scout or Explorer team, supporting a Trustee Board, or getting involved in other areas that help our groups thrive.
What could you be involved in?
The great thing about being a Team Member is that you can get involved in an area that matches your skills, interests and experience.
This could include:
- Supporting local Scout groups and their volunteers.
- Helping with recruitment and welcoming new volunteers.
- Supporting the development of the programme.
- Helping groups grow and provide more places for young people.
- Sharing ideas and good practice.
- Supporting events, activities and District projects.
- Helping us make Scouts more accessible to everyone.
- Using your existing skills to support the running and development of Scouts.
You don’t need to be an expert or have previous Scouting experience. We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, approachable and want to make a difference.
You’ll receive support and training and become part of a team working together to make Scouts the best it can be.
