We are looking for an organised volunteer to manage our social media accounts, coordinate our posting calendar, and help grow our online presence.
We are looking to expand our small, dedicated volunteer team at Hertfordshire Dyslexia Association (HDA). We are seeking an organised, creative individual to support and manage our social media accounts.
We are looking for someone who can support us to expand our digital reach, increase our follower base, and keep our channels active and engaging. By growing our online community, you will directly help us connect with and support more people with dyslexia across the county.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Platform Management & Growth: Taking full ownership of our social medical channels, focusing on strategies to increase our reach and engagement.
- Content Creation & Planning: Plan, write and schedule regular posts that shares valuable resources, advice, dyslexia awareness and HDA updates with the support from the Trustees.
- Community Engagement: Actively interact with our connections and followers by responding to comments or direct messages, maintaining a warm and supportive brand voice.
- Simple Tracking: Keep an eye on what types of posts perform best so we can continue to share similar content with our audience.
We would love to hear from your if:
- You are comfortable using and navigating major social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, with an interest in how to build and engage an online audience.
- You have great written communication skills and enjoy creating clear and encouraging digital content.
- You are organised, reliable and able to plan a basic weekly posting schedule.
- Can work with no budget.
- You are passionate about helping dyslexic adults in the workplace.
Please note that you will be asked if you'd like to join the Trustee board with this responsibility; if you do not wish to become a trustee but are still interested in supporting, please do still apply! Just let us know your preference in your application.
