Over the season each age group is invited to a VIP Matchday experience at the club. We are looking for a enthusiastic volunteer to run the show.
Help make our VIP Days unforgettable. On selected home
fixtures, an age group's players, coaches and families are
welcomed as guests of the 1st XV — and we're looking for a
friendly, organised volunteer to run the show.
What you will be doing on matchday (kick off tends to be Saturday 2.30pm or 3pm):
PRE MATCH: Set up the reserved tables and chairs in the marquee.
GUESTS ARRIVAL: Meet and greet the age group as they arrive — welcome players, coaches and families.
PRE-MATCH: Coordinate the ball girls and ball boys — introduce the available 1st XV players to the group.
KICK-OFF: Be the main point of contact throughout the afternoon — keep the day running smoothly.
FULL-TIME: Organise the post-match guard of honour onto the pitch to high-five the 1st XV.
AFTERWARDS: Assist in putting away the tables and chairs — job done.
Free hot beverages and food will be provided on the day.
This is a great opportunity to make a difference. It could well suit someone interested in or studying towards a career in Events Planning/ Management. Volunteering roles like these will look great on a CV. Alternatively it will suit an enthusiastic volunteer who likes to meet new people within friendly club culture.
