Would you like to get up close and personal with the museum’s collections? We are looking for a weekly volunteer for an initial period of three months to help photograph museum objects to add to our collections database.
You will be photographing objects from our paper ephemera collection, including large historical maps, plans and scrapbooks. You can read more about our collections on our website.
We will provide the camera and full training in object handling. This role would suit someone who is confident creating and uploading images, and who can work carefully with historic items. Interest in 2D photography or local history is a bonus.
The position will take place at the museum for 2-3 hours per week on Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on availability. It will run for an initial period of three months.
To apply, please fill in the form.
