Working closely with the Director of External Affairs, and with the support of an Assistant, they will help shape the Communications strategy
Develop and steward brand guidelines, reflecting Trust Values, and ensuring these
principles guide all external communications
• Deliver the communication strategy across all channels
• Provide communications expertise across the Trust’s teams, helping showcase all services
• Create and maintain an annual Key Messages Plan, to co-ordinate campaigns and
communications
• Liaise with all other External Affairs Team Leaders to ensure message consistency, and to
identify strategic opportunities to advance the Trust’s mission and strengthen presence in
Harpenden
• Liaise with volunteers throughout the Trust to gather insights and share communications
best practice
• Evaluate and report on communication effectiveness
