Working with our trustees and members, you will play a big part in ensuring Harpenden History Society effectively uses technology to achieve its aims.
We see this role suiting someone who has a career track in IT, potentially with a managerial responsibility. Whilst the role could be performed largely from home; we hope the person appointed would enthusiastically participate in our activities. The time you can give us can be fitted around your diary commitments.
What You'll Do
The IT Coordinator will take the lead in pulling together the skills, systems and resources we currently have in place.
Areas you’ll cover will include:
- Developing how we use IT equipment and software in our museum and in our communications
- Website design, management and development
- Management and development of information databases
- IT security – procedures, systems and regulation
- Sharing your expertise with us.
