Summary
We need people to go with our meals on wheels drivers from Wednesday 13/12 to Friday 16/12. No driving required, over 18s only, DBS preferred.Detailed description
Volunteers will accompany our meals on wheels delivery drivers to take hot meals on wheels to older and vulnerable clients. Volunteers will not be required to drive, just to help our drivers if there are any issues (e.g. finding alternative routes if the conditions are bad on the usual route, taking meals into clients' houses).
We are also looking for volunteers with 4x4s who are willing to drive themselves to deliver a meals on wheels round with one of our team members.
Rounds go out from 10.30am to 3pm. Volunteers will need to be able to make their way to their closest site that requires volunteer support, these sites are in: Hertford, St Albans, Letchworth, and Hemel Hempstead.
