Summary
This role requires a knowledge of the Expedition Section of the DofE Award, a walking qualification and an assessor DofE account or the desire to acquire one.
Detailed description
To deliver the HEST course alongside the HEST provider for a group of up to 5 participants
To deliver the course as outlined in the Participant and Leader Pack
To follow instruction from the HEST provider and complete the HEST learning matrix for the
participants being instructed
To attend DofE Expeditions and provide Quality Assurance on the expedition
To complete the Quality Assurance Form and send it to the HCC SfYP DofE Team
To work with the Expedition Supervisor to ensure that the Quality Assurance process is
beneficial to all.
To attend Quality Assurer training.
