Event & Operations Assistant

HABS Strength in Mind is a local charity dedicated to supporting children, young people, and families within our community. We work closely with schools, partner agencies, and local organisations to provide early help, wellbeing support, crisis intervention, and practical assistance to those who need it most. Our mission is to remove barriers, build resilience, and ensure every young person has the opportunity to thrive.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to support our team with event planning and operational tasks. If you have transferable skills and enjoy working both independently and as part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

●    Someone organised, proactive, and reliable

●    Ability to work confidently on your own and collaboratively with others

●    Good communication, coordination, and planning skills

●    A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved

What You’ll Be Doing:

●    Assisting with the planning and coordination of upcoming community events

●    Supporting day-to-day operational tasks that help our services run smoothly

●    Helping ensure our events and activities are well-managed and effective
