We're looking for new Trustees to join our Board, including a Treasurer Trustee.

We're looking for Trustees to join our Board.

What if the skills, experience and perspectives you bring every day could make a lasting difference in your local community?

Grove Cottage supports people with learning disabilities and complex needs to build friendships, develop skills, grow in confidence and live fulfilling lives, while providing valuable support to their families.

We're looking for committed people who can give their time, bring fresh perspectives and help guide the future of our charity.

What could you bring to our Board?

We're particularly interested in hearing from people with experience or interests in:

    • Marketing and communications, helping us raise awareness and reach new audiences.
    • Digital technology and systems, exploring how digital tools and AI could support and develop our work.
    • Lived experience of learning disabilities, or experience of supporting someone who does.

You don't need previous Trustee experience. We welcome people from different backgrounds who share our commitment to creating an inclusive community where people with learning disabilities can thrive.

The commitment: Six Board meetings a year in Bishop's Stortford, plus preparation and some involvement between meetings.

Location: Hybrid, with Board meetings held in person at 151 London Road, Bishop's Stortford.

Remuneration: Voluntary, with reasonable expenses paid.

As a Trustee, you'll help shape our strategy, support good governance and contribute to a sustainable future for a charity making a real difference to local people and their families.
