Unit helpers will support leaders of Rainbows, Brownies or Guides with the running of the weekly meetings. Term time only.
Girlguiding is a girl led organisation. We help and encourage girls of all backgrounds to gain confidence learn new skills and have adventures. Volunteers will help with set up of the meeting , help the girls complete activities as well as run games and have fun. Opportunities to advance skills and become a leader through our training program also available.
Other non meeting based roles also available. As a District we are responsible for managing a building. Girlguiding is a charity and receives no additional funding therefore we rely on fundraising to cover the costs of our building. Volunteers always welcome to help with this aspect.
