Summary

Want to do something out of the ordinary? A great opportunity awaits you!

Detailed description

We need some volunteers who would be happy to take on the role of 'Harry the Bear', our Garden House Hospice Care mascot, at a wide variety of events including schools assemblies and fundraising events.

What you’ll get from joining our team

This is a chance to impress your friends with your versatility and enhance your CV - who else will be able to claim they have been a hospice mascot?

As Harry, you will be dressed in a very fetching, huge fur suit. You will develop some interesting moves including waving and wiggling. Most of all, you will contribute to the fun of our events and ensure that people have a positive feeling about the hospice and our services.

The Harry suit is quite heavy and hot so you need to be physically fit.

Support you will receive

Full training on how to be a successful Harry will be provided.
