Detailed description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for further Board Members to join our team of Trustees and other Board Members. Friends of SADA is a charity that has been set up to support the work of SADA which is an organisation that supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse. The position is available to anyone living in the Hertfordshire area. It is a voluntary opportunity which would include full training where required. If you would be interested in becoming a Board Member you will be required to send an email detailing your reasons for wanting to be considered for the role together with any relevant experience you have. Applicants will then be asked to attend an informal interview, if successful the candidate must be able to commit to at least four meetings a year held in Stevenage.

Survivors Against Domestic Abuse (SADA) is a service that provides advice, guidance and support to individuals and their families who are or have experienced domestic abuse.

The service encourages and empowers victims and survivors to make decisions that are right for them offering crisis intervention, together with client-led support and signposting to other agencies suited to the individual and their own situation.
