About Flamstead Heritage

We are a community project set up to share the history and heritage of St Leonard's Church and the village of Flamstead. The 12th Century building was saved from closure with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Now we run a programme of community events and activities for all ages to find out more about the lives of our ancestors. We're also preserving the historic record for future generations to access.
