Summary

We are looking for Visitor Centre Tour Host volunteers for our North Weald Visitor Centre. You will look after guests as part of a team of 2 or 3.

Detailed description

Volunteers deliver our Visitor Centre Tour experience to groups of up to 20 people. Alongside your co-hosts, you will look after the visitors from meet and greet; offering drinks; showing films including our 999 experience; and viewing the helicopter to highlighting interactive displays in the room and answering questions. Together you will create a truly memorable time for people who we hope will continue to support the charity into the future. Tours last around 2 hours and can be at any time; they are always pre-arranged. Tours are aimed at an adult audience, but we also offer children's Tours so also need volunteers who are good with kids. You might help with 1 or 2 Tours a week or once a month, it is up to you to sign up to help when you can.

About Essex & Herts Air Ambulance

Our aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Without access to National Lottery funding and with limited support from Government, we continue to rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives – working together funded by you!

We truly are a life-saving Charity kept airborne thanks to everyone who plays our Lottery, makes a donation, enjoys our events, fundraises and volunteers in aid of EHAAT.
