Summary

We are looking for volunteer heros to join our busy Royston shop team in the town centre - helping the shop managers complete a variety of daily tasks.

Detailed description

Our shop teams are friendly and relaxed. Volunteers have fun whilst helping the shop managers look after a well-run and successful charity shop. You will be expected to sign up to regular slots on our Rota. Whilst in the shop there are a variety of roles suiting all ages and abilities such as signing people up to Gift Aid and sorting through donations; pricing and helping with displaying the stock being mindful of stock rotation targets; looking after our customers by helping them with their selections and serving them on the till; and helping keep the shop clean. Our shops are busy so there is always something to do! We are now open 7 days a week.

About Essex & Herts Air Ambulance

Our aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Without access to National Lottery funding and with limited support from Government, we continue to rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives – working together funded by you!

We truly are a life-saving Charity kept airborne thanks to everyone who plays our Lottery, makes a donation, enjoys our events, fundraises and volunteers in aid of EHAAT.
