We are looking for a lovely person to volunteer in our day centre and spend some time supporting people who are coming across for a fun engaging time.
The Crossroads day centre supports people with care needs have some time away from home and gives carers a break.
This is a great opportunity to spend some time with some lovely fun people, give back to the community and can also be a great first step into a career in care.
We are looking for volunteers to support people have a lovely time at the day centre for the day.
This would involve;
- Spending time with the clients and chatting
- playing games
- quizzes
- painting and other forms of art
- music
- seasonal activities
- helping people making cups of tea and coffee
You will be supported in training and this could be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start working in social care and for people looking to spend some time socially and have some fun
There will be no personal care involved
