Patient people are needed to volunteer as minibus escorts, to help vulnerable and elderly people on and off the bus, from their home to their Day Care Centre.
Volunteers are needed to escort elderly and vulnerable people on a mini-bus from their homes to their Day Care Centre, and back home again.
The bus collects the service users between 9am and 10am, and then takes them home between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, and volunteers are needed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
This vital role means that isolated vulnerable elderly people can access a local Day Care Centre, take advantage of the services they provide, have a hot meal and a chat (perhaps the only time they can leave their home each week).
A rewarding, enjoyable role for a patient, chatty person.
