Summary
Visiting people in their own homes and helping patients to use Doccla kit in the own homes, up to 2 visits per day for up to 14 days.
Detailed description
Volunteers are supporting the NHS by visiting and helping HAH patients to use the Doccla Kit in their home, this is a remote monitoring system to provide professionals with sufficient information to decide whether a patient is doing well at home or should be admitted to hospital. The kit is used to measure temperature, oxygen level, blood pressure, weight and can then submit the correct results on the smart device provided by the Doccla Team. Volunteers must only visit the patients at the agreed
dates and times with Communities 1st staff members.
• Volunteers must only visit the patients for the agreed
purpose to support with the Doccla Kit and for nothing
else.
• Volunteers must not take other people inside the
patients house while visiting and should wear their
Communities 1st ID badge.
• All volunteers must be DBS checked before starting to
visit HAH patients.
• If there is an urgent concern regarding the patient’s
wellbeing volunteers should contact Communities 1st
staff or the emergency services if needed.
• The Doccla Kit has full instruction of how to use and how
to submit the obtained numbers and the volunteer will
receive all the necessary information before visiting the
patient.
