Communities 1st provides Community Cafe sessions in Hertsmere we are looking for volunteers to support inclusive, community-based creative sessions by assisting

Detailed description

Key Responsibilities:


• Help set up and tidy away materials and refreshments.


• Welcome participants and provide guidance on available   supplies.


• Encourage creativity and assist with basic crafting activities.


• Promote a friendly, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.


• Organise donated supplies and suggest ideas for future sessions.


• Ensure the venue remains safe and accessible for all attendees.


When and where?


Day and time: Wednesdays from 12 noon - 4pm.

Location: Aberford Community Centre, Aberford Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1PL.


Day and time: Thursdays from 10am - 2pm.

Location: Bushey Library, Sparrows Herne, Bushey, Hertfordshire WD23 1FA.


Day and time: Thursdays from 10am - 2pm.

Location: Farriers Way Community Centre, 27 Farriers Way, Borehamwood, WD6 2TB.


Day and time: Fridays from 10am - 2pm.

Location: Organ Hall, 37 Bairstow Close, Borehamwood, WD6 4TB.


Day and time: Tuesdays from 12 noon - 4pm and Thursdays from 10am - 2pm.

Location: Phillimore Community Centre, Phillimore Place, Radlett, WD7 8NN.


Day and time: Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am - 2pm.

Location: Windsor Hall, Blyth Close, Gateshead Road, Borehamwood, WD6 4EE.

We are a membership organisation dedicated to supporting the Voluntary Community, Faith, CIC, Social Enterprises and small-medium sized Business based or working in the districts of St Albans, Hertsmere, and Welwyn Hatfield. We have a volunteer Centre which covers St Albans, Hertsmere, Broxbourne, East Herts, and Welwyn Hatfield.
