Summary

We are looking for a volunteer administrator to support our People Officer with recruitment, both of paid staff and volunteers.

Detailed description

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of our service by providing administrative support to the People Officer.

 

 

What might you do?

 

·        Keep recruitment and HR records up to date

·        Manage the recruitment inbox, sending out communications to prospective volunteers in a timely fashion in line with our procedures

·        Be responsible for induction paperwork and liaise with our IT contractors

·        Coordinate “Open day” sessions and interviews

·        Prepare documents for inductions and other HR processes

·        Contribute to improving relevant operations and processes, to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for our volunteers

·        Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the People Officer

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to follow a workflow
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, email and the internet
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Understanding of CANH procedures and the way we work
