Detailed description

We’re looking for someone to:

·     Use social media to raise the profile of Citizens Advice Broxbourne

·     Work as part of a small team to keep our profile up-to-date

·     Create leaflets and posters to promote the service or use existing materials

·     Write information for Citizens Advice Broxbourne website and/or newsletters

·     Help share what Citizens Advice Broxbourne does with the local press and/or radio station

·     Help promote Citizens Advice Broxbourne to others through events and talks

What do you need to have?

·     Have good IT skills and be knowledgeable about social media platforms and how they work

·     Have good verbal and written communication skills

·     Be friendly and approachable

·     Be non-judgmental and respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own

·     Be willing to undertake training for your role


How much time do you need to give?


We can be flexible about time spent and how often you volunteer. Ideally, we would like someone to volunteer for 3-5 hours a week for at least 12 months.

Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds and we welcome applications from disabled people, people with physical or mental health conditions, LGBT+ and non-binary people and people from Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
