We’ re looking for someone to:
· Join our small admin team to help with the running of Citizens Advice Broxbourne’ service
· Spend 4-6 hours per week working as an admin assistant, which we can arrange to suit your circumstances
· Arrange call backs and appointments for our clients
· Work with volunteers and staff to work with clients in our local community
What will you do?
· Help with the day-to-day running of the Citizens Advice Broxbourne service
· Answer the telephone, reply to emails and post
· Talk to clients and enter new clients on our secure database
· Undertake call backs and gather information for an initial assessment
· Arrange appointments for clients
· Print and scan documents
· Complete an introduction to Citizens Advice and training for your role

What do you need to have?
You don’t need any specific qualifications, but you will need to:
· Be friendly and approachable
· Respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own
· Have good IT skills
· Have good listening, verbal and written skills
· Be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection
How much time do you need to give?
Ideally we ask for 4-6 per week, which can be over one day or spread over two days, for at least 12 months. We can be flexible so come and talk to us.
