Help shape the future of Citizens Advice Broxbourne as a trustee. Bring your experience, perspective and ideas to a local charity making a big difference.

As a trustee of Citizens Advice Broxbourne, you’ll help shape the future of an independent local charity and make sure we continue to meet the needs of our community.

You’ll work alongside our other trustees, staff and volunteers to contribute to important decisions about our strategy, services, partnerships, fundraising and financial sustainability. There are also opportunities to get more involved in areas that interest you, including joining a subcommittee or supporting particular areas of development.

You’ll gain experience of charity governance and how a local organisation makes strategic decisions, while developing your understanding of the issues affecting people in our community. It’s also a chance to meet staff, volunteers and local partners and build connections within the voluntary and community sector.

Most importantly, your contribution will help us remain a strong, sustainable organisation providing advice and support to local people when they need it most.

You don’t need previous trustee experience. We’re interested in people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and full induction and support will be provided.
