Volunteer Oxygen Chamber Operator

We require welcoming and friendly people who will help our clients feel comfortable during their time in the oxygen chambers at the Chilterns Neuro Centre. The role includes operating the Oxygen Chamber and also assisting with a variety of support tasks. No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

The Chilterns Neuro Centre is an independent charity based in Wendover, providing support to over 700 people from across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.

The Chilterns Neuro Centre offers a range of services and therapeutic leisure activities for people with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke Survivors. The Centre also supports the family members and carers.

One of the services we offer is Oxygen Treatment which takes place in two on-site oxygen chambers. 100% oxygen is delivered at a pressure greater than normal, allowing a higher level of oxygen to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Many people report improvements in their symptoms following the treatment.
