This role is to aid the smooth running of a conservation or Rights of Way task by collecting a CRoW vehicle from County Hall in Hertford.

Detailed description

This role is to aid the smooth running of a conservation or Rights of Way task by collecting a CRoW vehicle from County Hall in Hertford and driving it to site. Alternatively, you may be moving CRoW vehicles from one site to another if more than one task location is required on a particular day.


The CRoW fleet comprises of 3 pick-ups, 2 trailers, a large van, 2 small vans and a car. A level of driving confidence and a full UK driving licence will be required for this role, plus a BE category on your UK driving licence for the trailers.


An induction to the vehicles will be given, plus training on the trailers (subject to your licence).


A willingness to help load and unload tools and materials is preferred but not essential.


You will be supported through every stage by your CRoW contact.
