SummaryRoutine weeding and keeping pathways clear; maintaining outbuildings and fencing eg painting, repairing; growing fee-friendly plants for sale
We need to keep our two sites looking lovely for hosting visits. Any contribution welcomed at whatever level, from routine weeding to taking on responsibility for a bed dedicated to growing pollinator-friendly plants; from painting outbuildings and fences to repairing gates and leaking plumbing.
Most of our volunteers are on site on Wednesdays but if you prefer working on your own flexibly, that's also fine.
We have regular socials and there's always the opportunity to get involved in our visits and activities and to learn more about bees and beekeeping if you're interested.
About Buzzworks Association Hitchin
We also support local beekeepers and provide training courses for new and improver beekeepers at our larger Honeyworks Beekeeping Centre, off Burford Way, Hitchin.
You can find us at the Hitchin Farmers Market on the last Saturday of every month. Come along for a chat and buy some pure local honey. Or contact us via our website.
