Help us to keep things running smoothly by organising events and activities (training given, past programmes available). Or get to know BuzzWorks and our friendly team, then reply to a variety of enquiries about education, training, visits, activities, volunteering opportunities which come through our website to our dedicated email address. Perhaps manage Social Media channels, or help find local business sponsors or liaise with community groups.
You could keep our membership records and mailing lists up-to-date. Or organise one of our Open Days. These roles can be separate or combined, to suit the level of commitment you're looking for.
All admin tasks can be done flexibly at home, though of course you would also get to meet our 30+ active volunteers, all contributing in different ways to Buzzworks. You would also be able to learn more about bees and beekeeping if interested.
About Buzzworks Association Hitchin
We also support local beekeepers and provide training courses for new and improver beekeepers at our larger Honeyworks Beekeeping Centre, off Burford Way, Hitchin.
You can find us at the Hitchin Farmers Market on the last Saturday of every month. Come along for a chat and buy some pure local honey. Or contact us via our website.
