If you love gardens, you will know they need a lot of care and attention. In this role you will be helping with everyday practical tasks to keep centre gardens

Activities may include:

  • Clearing overgrown areas or developing sensory sections in the garden
  • Engaging in general garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, hedge cutting, raking, and deadheading
  • Planting flowers, plants, or vegetables
  • Sweeping paths and removing leaves to maintain a clean and tidy garden environment
  • Help with planning and development of our outdoor spaces.

How often we would like your support: Ideally, we hope you would volunteer every week or fortnight; however, all our roles are flexible.

What we hope you will bring to the role:

  • A basic knowledge of plants
  • The patience and ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • A friendly and supportive approach
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
