Are you experienced in finance, banking, or customer service? Looking to give back to your community in a meaningful way?
Black Squirrel Credit Union is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our mission of providing fair, accessible financial services to local people. By offering just 1 or 2 days a week of your time, you can help individuals and families build financial resilience, access affordable credit, and feel supported in their financial journey.
We have opportunities in lending, treasury, disbursing loans and credit management. We would also like to talk to volunteers who can network with schools, churches, trades unions, and other community groups to spread the word about Credit Unions generally.
A credit union is like a tiny bank where people in a local community can save as well as borrow. We deal mostly with underserved members of our community in North Herts, South / Central Beds and South Cambs.
