We are looking for someone with reasonable finance experience who will in time become out treasurer.
The person who takes the role will in time take over from the Treasurer, it involves doing bank reconciliations, posting members payments to their savings / loan accounts, paying out share withdrawals and loans, quarterly reporting to the PRA and other duties. It will require enhanced DBS check and you will need to become an approved person by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) (part of the Bank of England).
We help members to save and provide affordable loans to our members, many of whom would not get credit elsewhere. We work with North Herts Council providing rental deposits for people in acute housing stress, as well lending for things like white goods, car repairs etc.
