Are you a good listener? Do you enjoy making someone's day? Can you spare an hour a week to change an older person's life by telephoning them?
We are looking to speak to any individuals who can spare an hour a week to phone an older person in the Hemel Hempstead area.
As Telephone Befriender you can enjoy a regular friendly chat on the phone with older people each week.
You will be matched with an older person, providing friendship and sharing news, views and interests.
This is a very rewarding role which can be fitted around anyone who is working full time or part time.
Training & support is provided to all our volunteers.
All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and are recruited subject to references and a clear enhanced DBS. Training will be provided
