Volunteer Minibus Driver Wanted!
Why not finally put that mysterious D1 on your license to good use? We're looking for a friendly volunteer to drive our brand new minibus and help transport our wonderful clients. It’s more than just driving — it’s a chance to connect, chat, and share memories as you pass familiar spots around town. Our clients love a good story, and you might just find yourself enjoying the ride as much as they do.
Driving times:
- Mondays: 8:30–10:30 AM and/or 2:30–4:30 PM
- Tuesdays: 8:30–10:30 AM and/or 2:30–4:30 PM
- Wednesdays: 2:30–4:30 PM

The New Apton Centre is a youth centre for the over 55’s, (that’s how our members describe us) where we provide an opportunity for people to reconnect in an inclusive community and have fun along the way.
We provide drop-in sessions and day services, packed with choice-based activities, to create and build strong relationships as well as support health and well-being. Food and drink are provided through the day. You can chat over your morning tea and toast, enjoy a home cooked lunch with new and old friends, and finish the day with a nice slice of cake.
